Ditchy drops Key for Real

Key 103's drivetime presenter David Ditchfield is heading back to Leeds to takeover afternoons at Real Radio Yorkshire. Ditchy has previously broadcast to the area as host of Radio Aire's breakfast show, where he picked up a Sony in 2002.

Ditchy, aged 30, who lives in Morley with his wife and two children, said: “Joining Real was an offer I just couldn’t refuse. It’s a fantastic station, the music is right up my street and as an added bonus I live just yards away from the station. I love Yorkshire and can’t wait to get back on-air over there.”

Tony McKenzie, programme director at Real Radio, said: “Ditchy is a great presenter. He’s bright, he’s energetic and we know he’s going to sound brilliant on-air for us.
