The Central Office of Information has signed a deal with GCap Media to provide details online about the locations of bonfire celebrations. The info will be available on the website of each station, including Capital 95.8.
Fireworks Finder will enable listeners to type in their postcodes and see where their nearest event will be taking place, via easy to use Google Maps.
Firework Finder and COI’s sponsorship of the initiative will be promoted via a series of website banners across the Capital 95.8, Choice FM and the 42 One Network websites, CRM monthly newsletters and it will be linked to the SMS database. The microsite will also receive significant on-air promotion by station DJs in the run up to Firework Night.
