Management and staff from UTV Radio visited the Sky News Centre in October as part of their programming conference. During the visit to Sky’s studio, organised by Head of Sky News Radio Andy Ivy, 40 senior staff from UTV Radio took part in a Q&A session with Head of Sky News John Ryley.
Sky weather girl Lisa Burke also took part in a special one-to-one interview with 107.6 Juice FM’s programme director Gary Burgess and the group was given a behind-the-scenes tour of the Sky News Centre, including the Sky News Radio studios.
UTV Radio is one of Sky News Radio’s 60 client stations which take a mixture of live radio news bulletin directly from the Sky News Centre and a ‘rip and read’ service of scripts and audio.
