Winter wonderland at Xfm

The Xfm network is offering live music during December to raise money for Shelter. Xfm’s Winter Wonderland will see live music from core Xfm artists including Stereophonics, Supergrass, Kash Nash, The Charlatans, The Courteeners and Super Furry Animals.

Four gigs will take place in the TSA of each station, London, Glasgow, Manchester and Cardiff.

The event will be hosted by Xfm DJs from around the network including Alex Zane, Julyan Sinclair, Clint Boon and Rhys and Eggsy will be broadcast live and exclusively across the network including exclusive backstage gossip and interviews.

Xfm Network Managing Director Nick Davidson said: “This is Xfm’s flagship event, and this year it will run over, a very busy four nights. It marks the end of an incredible year that has seen Xfm London celebrate its 10th birthday as well as the launch of Xfm South Wales. The Xfm team have once again come up with a stellar line-up many of which are still to be announced and our listeners will be in for a festive treat whether they’re at the gig or listening to the radio in the comfort of their own home.”

Opening the events in London, Manchester and Scotland will be the winners of Xfm’s Rock School, a month long search on three stations in the network to find the three best school rock bands in the UK. Xfm south Wales launches on Tuesday 29th November.
