Paul Fairclough is making the move from Pulse Gold to join Signal 2. Paul will host the mid-morning show from January 2nd at the UTV station.
Fairclough will also take on a senior support role of station producer, tasked with creating content across the day on Signal 2.
Paul said: "I’m delighted to be joining Signal 2 at such an exciting time. The management have big plans for Signal 2 in 2008 and I’m very much looking forward to playing my part in the stations development and growth."
On Fairclough’s appointment, Simon Walkington, Signal 2, programme director, said: "Paul’s experience in local radio will be invaluable over the next 12 months. He’ll bring an immense amount of passion and drive to the station and help us take Signal 2 to a whole new level."
