Rick Shaw joins Xfm London

Former Radio City and Metro Radio presenter Rick Shaw is making the move from Kerrang! 105.2 to Xfm London.

He is set to host drivetime in the capital, taking over from Ian Camfield has signed with K-ROCK New York. Rick has been with Kerrang! Since the 2004 and currently hosts the drivetime show. While at Kerrang he won gold in the category of ‘The Music Programme Award’ at the Sony Awards in 2006 and silver for ‘Daytime Music Sequence Programme’ in 2007.

Xfm London’s Programme Director Adam Uytman said ‘With his irreverent sense of humour and unique take on life Rick is sure to spice up the weekday schedule, providing a real alternative to what the rest of London has to offer. With Alex Zane and Rick on either side of Xu Xfm has a really strong line-up to start the New Year.’
