Capital 95.8 have confirmed that Denise Van Outen will be joining The Capital Breakfast Show with Johnny Vaughan from Monday 4th February. Speculation has been rife since the weekend that the former Big Breakfast team would reunite on radio.
The Mail on Sunday reported Denise's salary will almost match Johnny's £1 million per year contract with the GCap station.
Vaughan is currently bringing in 880,000 listeners at breakfast, just 5000 behind Neil Fox in the number one commercial spot on Magic 105.4.
Capital 95.8 Managing Director, Paul Jackson says: "Johnny and I have been talking about this for a while. Everyone knows they have great chemistry together and they will undoubtedly create the best breakfast for London."
Van Outen said: “I’m really excited to be joining the breakfast show at Capital. It’s going to be fantastic to work with Johnny again and undoubtedly great fun. I can’t wait to get started."
