Daytime television host Trisha Goddard is the latest signing for Emap's new talk radio station, City Talk 105.9. Trisha will host a weekend programme each Sunday evening – details of which will be revealed when she visits Liverpool later today for a news conference.
Trisha will also be made an 08 Ambassador during her visit to the Town Hall today, as part of Liverpool's Capital of Culture celebrations. It is thought the Londoner will continue with her daily television show on Five.
She said: "Liverpool is a city that loves to talk. It's a wonderful place – exciting, vibrant and down to earth. I look forward to being part of the team and getting to know the city even better."
Other presenters announced include television hosts Dean Sullivan and Margi Clarke, plus local football personalities Ian St John and John Aldridge.
