A former GCap presenter has been jailed for grooming two school children online. Adam Hopkins, who has now left his job as a presenter on Coast 96.3 FM, described himself as a sex addict during his court hearing.
According to the Daily Post, the 26 year old admitted contacting two 14-year-old girls through an internet messaging service, and playing strip jack poker with them via web cams.
He indulged in indecent acts in front of the camera and even met up with the two girls on one occasion. No physical contact occurred, but Hopkins said he met the pair with a view to sexual activity in the future via the web.
Hopkins admitted two counts of engaged in sexual activity in the presence of young girls, and one charge of sexual grooming.
He must register as a sex offender for the next ten years.
