Schedule changes for 97.3 LBC

97.3 LBC FM has revealed several key schedule changes for 2008, including Paul Ross being replaced at drive time. James Hartigan and Petrie Hosken will begin a new double-headed show running from 4pm to 7pm, whilst Loose Women panelist Jeni Barnett takes over early afternoons.

Barnett, who currently presents the Sunday afternoon food and drink show, begins her new show between 1pm and 4pm from Monday 7th January. Hartigan and Hosken, who have previously presented together on LBC News 1152 will present the new drivetime programme from Monday 14th January, with the Nightly News starting at the later time of 7pm, followed by Nick Abbot at 7.30pm.
James Max, currently presenting the station's Saturday show The Fine Things In Life and the Sunday business and property show Business Matters, will present early breakfast shows on Friday from 5am to 7am and Saturday from 6am to 8am.
Jonathan Richards, Programme Director of LBC 97.3 FM, commented: "Jeni has made a fantastic impression on everyone at LBC, both on and off the air. Her weekend show is an excellent listen and I know her infectious personality will make her new weekday afternoon programme unmissable."
Alison Bell and Paul Ross will remain at the station and make occasional appearances.
"Alison and Paul and excellent broadcasters and great people to work with so I'm delighted they are remaining part of the LBC team", said Richards.
