Scots in talks for Xfm Network

Two Scottish business tycoons are reportedly interested in buying Xfm in Wales, Manchester and Scotland. GCap Media will shut or sell the stations before the end of next month, Fru Hazlitt said in a landmark speech two weeks ago.

The Scotsman newspaper claims Gordon Beattie and John Quinn are in talks with GCap and do not want to go through the talks and not get the stations in the end.
Beattie owns a public relations agency and has interests in radio whilst Quinn is a 15 per-cent shareholder in TLRC’s Central FM.
