Television host and radio producer Danny Wallace is joining GCap Media's Xfm to host a network Saturday morning show in Manchester and London from Feb 9th.
Danny has a strong comedy background and a jam packed biography which shows his broad range of talents from author to radio and television presenter to his work as a producer. Some of his most famous credits include his books ‘Join Me’ and ‘Yes Man’, ‘How to Start Your Own Country’ for BBC2 and his presenting work on ‘Castaway’ and ‘Test the Nation’ for the BBC.
Danny Wallace said ‘I'm thrilled and excited to be joining Xfm – an ambition I've had since I first started listening ten years back. The only thing that annoys me is that I'll no longer be able to listen between ten and two on Saturdays… But I'll live with that. I can't wait to get started.’
Xfm London’s programme director Adam Uytman said: "Xfm has a great comedy heritage so we are really pleased to be adding Danny to our weekend schedule. Danny’s show like everything else he takes on will be different to what is currently on offer in the radio market and will mirror what he does on the small screen for Xfm.
