Smooth Radio in Glasgow is celebrating its first year on air by giving local businesses the chance to win a share of £105,000 worth of radio advertising.
Each business has the opportunity to win £1,000 of advertising through the day today. In addition listeners will be given the chance to win £105.20 every hour from 6am to 8pm.
Gerry Burke, head of presentation for Smooth Radio Glasgow said, “I think the most exciting thing I've noticed this year is just how warmly the audience has reacted to the station – great to know on our birthday."
Since the former Saga station was re-branded and relaunched by GMG Radio, quarter on quarter the station has seen an increase in audience to a weekly total of 199,000, 5% up quarter on quarter. Listeners are tuning in for 2.2 million hours per week, an increase of 5% quarter on quarter.
