Mike, who lives in Saddleworth with his wife Viv and daughter Niamh, said: “I’m chuffed to bits. I’ve always tried to only take on work that I love and I know that I’m going to absolutely love playing rock music in Manchester for people in Manchester."
Joe Radcliffe, station director at Rock Radio, said: “He’s passionate about the music that Rock Radio is all about, has an impeccable Manchester heritage and knows what our listeners will want to hear. We couldn’t have wished for a better signing.”
