Heart breakfast presenter Jamie Theakston has become a father for the first time after his wife Sophie gave birth to a baby boy on Friday night in London.
The child, which the happy couple have named Sidney, was born at St Mary's Hospital around 8pm and weighed 8lb 6oz.
Jamie ran a vote on his breakfast show to name the baby – with top suggestions Elvis, Anakin and Jorge coming in the top three places. Obviously Sophie thought better of the suggestions and went with her own choice.
Earlier this week Jamie was nominated for a Sony Radio Academy Award for his and co-host Harriet's breakfast show on London's Heart.
