Touch Radio Warwick launches

The UK's newest radio station has launched in Warwick, Leamington Spa and Kenilworth. 107.3 Touch Radio started broadcasting at 7pm Friday 4th April after a five minute countdown sequence. First song played was Radio Ga Ga by Queen, and as usual we have the audio on RadioToday.co.uk.

Touch Radio Warwick is the latest Touch-branded station to launch in the midlands, joining sister stations in Coventry, Tamworth, Banbury and Stratford. The jingles were provided by JonesTM of Dallas, and voice-over is Ian Brannan.
Presenters on the station includes Ben Day, who left The Severn to take up his new position on Breakfast, Louisa Allen on mid-mornings, Mikey Faulkner on drive and Matt Walters on the evening show.
CN Group won the Warwick licence as "2-Day FM" in January 2006, taking the company over two years to commence broadcasting.
