BBC Coventry and Warwickshire adds 15,000 listeners, Radio Gloucestershire adds 6,000, and Vanessa Feltz's audience on BBC London 94.9FM rises to an all time high. Those are the highlights from the BBC local radio stations for quarter 1, 2008.
However, BBC Hereford and Worcester was the only local station to drop over five per cent from 29 last quarter to 23 per cent reach this time round. However, the station enjoyed an increase in average listening hours.
BBC Radio Jersey were also celebrating with an all-round increase in both audience share and weekly reach, up 4 per cent reach. BBC Coventry and Warwickshire has achieved its highest listening figures since the station's launch in 2005.
