LBC 97.3 has signed Ken Livingstone, the former Mayor of London, to present his own afternoon phone-in show.
Livingstone will stand in for Jeni Bennett, hosting five afternoon programmes from Monday 30th June to Friday 4th July, live from 1.00pm to 4.00pm each day.
In addition to the week of afternoon shows, Livingstone is also joining the station on a permanent basis for an as-yet unannounced programme.
Jonathan Richards, programme director of LBC 97.3 said: "After eight years as Mayor of London, no-one knows this city and its people better. Ken has seen London through the best and worst of times and is now sharing his views and knowledge.
"Love him or hate him, Ken Livingstone is never boring."
