JACK continues Oxford deal

The team at JACK fm are extending their commentary deal with Oxford United for another year. The station will also continue to sponsor the back of the home and away kits.

United chairman Nick Merry is delighted to have JACK on board for another season: "JACK fm are an exciting, dynamic radio station and it's great to have them as a partner for the coming season. They have shown a commitment to the club over the past twelve months and we are proud to have such a prestigious name on the back of the shirts. We will be working closely with them to bring the fans news, competitions and offers, and we look forward to working together once again."
Ian Walker, JACK's General Manager was equally pleased: "I think it is a great result for both parties. We are receiving great feedback about our Saturday 'Big Banana' show, which interviews and provides commentary on United games every match day, I certainly think we are adding a fresh new twist to following The U's."
In other news at the Oxfordshire-based station, current Mayor of London Boris Johnson spilled the beans on his love for Henley and said he'd love to hear Trevor's very moving musical tribute to the new Mayor of London, if only he could find time in his diary.
