The northwest's biggest commercial station Smooth Radio is joining forces with Radio Donna in Belgium this week for a breakfast promotion to give away holidays around Europe.
Belgian producer Marc Pinte from the Brussels-based station will be asking listeners a simple question to win a city break, but in the spirit of continental relations, he’ll be speaking in French.
Breakfast presenter Chris Best will be asking listeners try to work out the answers for the chance to win trips to mystery European destinations.
Steve Collins, programme director at 100.4 Smooth Radio, said: “This is a unique collaboration between ourselves and Radio Donna which creates fantastic on-air content for our listeners, as well as building a relationship between two great commercial stations.”
Marc Pinte, producer at Radio Donna, said: “It’s great to team up with the number-one station in the north-west of England for a competition which will be sending Smooth listeners all around Europe on holiday, including to the great city of Brussels. All of us here at Radio Donna would like to wish all Smooth listeners the best of luck and happy holidays to the winners."
The prizes are courtesy of Brussels Airlines and Manchester Airport, through working with Mediavest.
