An RSL licence has been granted by Ofcom to cover the SHOWstudio Fashion DJs event in central London till July 12th, with Somethin' Else commissioned to produce the station.
The whole broadcast, which is from midday till midnight, is sponsored by Swarovski and will feature DJs from the fashion and entertainment world.
The programming is set to include ‘a picnic with Lily Cole’, Jefferson Hack’s guide to ‘what’s new’ and ‘Boy George’s choir’. Listeners can also expect to hear the dulcet tones of Naomi Campbell as she takes to the microphone.
Commenting on the five figure commission, Nicky Birch, head of music radio at Somethin’ Else, said: “We’re delighted to have won such a high profile commission. We’ve got some of the fashion world’s top names to design their own radio shows so expect the unexpected!”
