Merseyside station KCR 106.7 has been bought by a consortium headed by group chairman and presenter Jon Jessop.
The purchase means another end to the name KCR, as the station will re-launch as 106.7 The Edge later this year.
Former owner and chairman Ray Ferguson will continue as company secretary of the new station. George Halsall has also been appointed as station manager and will restructure the back office support for the station.
