Galaxy enters world of publishing

Global Radio is to launch an online magazine for listeners called Galaxy Life. The publication will be aimed at 20 – 29 year old women and focus on lifestyle issues, showbiz interviews, fashion and beauty.

In partnership with www.beautyandthedirt.co.uk, the e-zine will be published quarterly and distributed to over 340,000 listeners who have subscribed to mailing lists with the Galaxy network of stations.

Global Radio's director of marketing Nicola Thomson said: "The magazine is a brilliant way to interact with our listeners. Of course, we would consider rolling more e-zines out for our other brands, but there are no immediate plans to do so."

The first issue will be available through the station websites today, and at galaxymagazine.co.uk.
