Changes for 5 Live breakfast

Nicky Campbell is said to be hosting a new weekday phone-in on BBC Radio 5 Live, as changes are made to the station's morning schedule.
The station's hour-long midday news will be axed as part of the new schedule, which would represent the first significant changes made by controller Adrian Van Klaveren.

According to the Media Guardian, breakfast host Nicky Campbell will host an hour-long phone-in immediately after the breakfast programme at 9am, sources tell the paper.
Campbell will continue to co-host the 5 Live breakfast programme with Shelagh Fogarty but will not join her until 7am, leaving Fogarty to present the first hour of the show alone.
Victoria Derbyshire's phone-in programme will be moved back an hour to 10am and will remain in a three hour slot, with the hour-long midday news programme been cut so that Simon Mayo's show begins at 1pm as usual.
The Media Guardian suggests the new schedule will begin next year.
