Keen headlines Central schedule

Former talkSPORT and Magic 999 presenter Mark Keen is leading the line-up at Lancashire's new station Central Radio.
Mark will present breakfast at the Preston-based station, and will be joined by BBC Radio Sheffield's Anna Woolhouse as co-host.

Drivetime is covered by former Heart Midlands presenter Kim Shaw, while Aaron Roscoe, ex-BRMB, will present the evening show and is the station’s producer.
Former Piccadilly Radio presenter Chris Buckley, who is also the stations programmer, will front the mid-mornings.
Former Coronation Street actor Scott Wright will also be a regular presenter on 106.5 Central Radio, although his role is remaining under wraps until launch day. Scott, known to millions of Weatherfield fans as Sam Kingston, has also starred in a host of programmes including Shameless, Doctors and Emmerdale.
The station is now testing reading for launch in the next couple of weeks.
Speaking of the team, Chris Buckley said: “I have been able to assemble a particularly strong line up for 106.5 Central Radio and one of the big draws that has attracted these people to UTV Radio is the strong commitment to local programming.
“Very few stations still have a live show in the evening, unlike us, and our emphasis on local news will see twice daily ten minute bulletins and a strong commitment at the weekends. Some of the presenters had turned their backs on commercial radio and got jobs in different fields, so it is great to be able to attract talent back into radio.”
Mike Baker, senior station director, said: “There is a real buzz around the launch of 106.5 Central Radio and Chris has put together a strong on air schedule.
There has also been a great deal of interest from advertisers, many of whom have never used radio. We have a series of high profile and dynamic marketing initiatives to support the launch and all the signs point to a successful station.
