Jo Russell is joining Virgin Radio as their new weekend mid-morning presenter.
Russell, better known as one half of the long-serving Jo and Twiggy breakfast show on Trent FM in Nottingham, has won numerous Sony Radio Academy Awards over the years.
Russell will be hosting some early breakfast programmes and weekend mid-mornings.
The arrival of Russell means that former Radio 1 and Key 103 presenters JK and Joel will leave the station later in the year, as will Robin Burke.
The station is due to relaunch next month under a new name, supported by a multi-million pound marketing campaign.
Joining Twiggy on Trent FM's breakfast show will be afternoon presenter Emma Caldwell. 2CR acting programme controller James Lloyd (also known as Lloydie) will be leaving to replace Caldwell.
