Presenter Mike Read announced on Big L this morning that the station had been bought by a growing radio group, and plans are being made to 'build up the brand'.
Comments were made by Read on-air at lunchtime to the effect that Big L shows would 'go out on FM' in Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bristol and Swindon.
No official word has been released by the Frinton-on-Sea based station but we'll bring you more when we can.
