A Liverpool man had Radio City’s logo tattooed on his arm live on air this morning in a bid to win tickets for the MTV Europe Music Awards.
The act came after breakfast host Simon Ross offered out MTV access to the person who will do the most outrageous act to ‘earn’ the tickets.
Now 31 year old Steve Moffit will forever have the Bauer Big City “Radio City 96.7” splash emblazoned on his skin – and he isn’t even guaranteed to win the tickets. He is up against a life-long vegetarian lady who ate a burger live on air in a bid to get herself to the event. More contestants will try to top Steve’s feat this week.
Radio City’s programme controller Euan McMorrow, whilst still shaking his head in disbelief, said: “This takes our ‘branding’ to a whole new level!”
