Former GCap Media network programme director Pete Simmons has been appointed as programme director for Magic 105.4 in London.
Pete replaces Adrian Stewart who joined Heart 106.2 as programme director last month.
Commenting on today’s announcement, Pete said: “I am hugely excited to be joining Magic 105.4, London’s number one commercial radio station, and working with the Magic team to deliver further expansion of the Magic brand in London and Nationally.
"I believe the core of good radio is in the detail of the music, presentation, and production and am looking forward to evolving the broadcast sound for Magic and continuing to grow the audience reach and hours.”

Pete joins Magic 105.4 on 10 November 2008 and will report direct to Mark Story.
