Gemma Shepherd, one of Johnny Vaughn's former producers at Capital FM is joining Invicta FM as co-host on the James Hemming breakfast show.
Gemma spent 18 months producing Vaughn but always wanted to be in front of the microphone, she told [link=http://www.kentnews.co.uk/kent-news/New-Invicta-breakfast-DJ-vows-to-get-stuck-in-newsinkent17971.aspx?news=local]Kent News[/link]: "Yes, that’s exactly it,” she said. “You always get this thing where you have in your mind what you want the presenter to say and then they say it differently.
"So it's going to be interesting to see how it is being that other person."
Gemma has previously worked at Xfm Manchester and Ocean FM and starts at Invicta on Monday 17th November.
