Midlands’ seasonal soundtrack

Still struggling to get to grips with this year’s festivities? It shouldn’t be too much of a problem for listeners of 101.8 WCR FM in Wolverhampton where it’s officially Christmas come Monday morning.

Starting at 7am on Monday December 1st, the station ditches its normal playlist and plays nothing but Christmas music twelve hours a day seven days a week. The network promises a library full of musical surprises for those who are terrified of the prospect of Noddy Holder declaring, It’s Christmas each and every hour.
