Global Radio has today announced the network and local programming line-up for the roll-out of the Heart national brand from January 2009. Changes will include popular shows like Club Classics and Heartbreakers extended across the week.
The new programming, which will effect nine stations in its initial phase, will see Club Classics increased to six nights a week while Heartbreakers, presented by Simon Beale, will also now feature across the entire network. In addition, Toby Anstis will host the weekday mid-morning show from 10am to 1pm and Jason Donovan’s current Sunday evening show will air across the entire network.
Global Radio’s Group Programme Director of Heart Luis Clark said: “We are very excited to bring together the best in network shows and local programming in the new Heart programme line-up, confirming our vision for Heart to be a strong national brand which is delivered locally.”
