Newbury station Kick FM has dispatched a huge collection of donated toys to needy children in West Berkshire as the station’s Christmas Toy Appeal draws to a close.
Presenters Ben Stone and Ashley Doyle joined Steve Hitchcock from Swift Couriers and Yvette Jones from West Berkshire Children and Young People to safely pack the toys which have been donated by Kick FM listeners.
Kick FM breakfast presenter Ben Stone said, “We are so grateful to everyone who has given a gift this year. We know money is tight at the moment, which makes each donation all the more important. Together with the Swift Group, we at Kick FM would like to thank all those listeners who have helped put a smile on a young person’s face right here in West Berkshire this Christmas”.
