The Local Radio Company has today announced the appointment of Jason Bryant as managing director of the company’s Local Stations Division. Alistair MacKenzie relinquishes his role as Chief Operating Officer but continues to serve as Finance Director.
Mr Bryant is also a Director and sole shareholder of Town and Country Broadcasting Ltd, a privately owned media business and its wholly owned subsidiary companies. He is also a member of the public affairs committee of the RadioCentre, the industry trade body.
Commenting on the appointment, TLRC board member Anthony Gumbiner said, “We are delighted to have Jason Bryant on board. His experience in commercial radio makes him uniquely placed to assist us in turning round the group in a difficult economic environment”.
