Lancashire’s Rock FM has published a book in partnership with Lancashire County Council’s Sure Start Early Years and Childcare Service. The ‘Write for Me’ book contains short stories written by the county’s budding young writers.
Schools from the area submitted stories as part of the ‘Rock, Read & Write’ campaign which saw Rock FM host a series of ‘reading roadshows’ across the county to encourage reading, improve children’s communication, language and literacy.
The book is now available to buy from Rock FM for £3.50 and all proceeds from sales of the book will go to Rock FM’s Cash for Kids charity.
