Richard Madeley, of Richard and Judy fame, will present three shows on BBC Radio 5 Live between Tuesday 20 and Thursday 22 January 2009. Madeley, who started his broadcasting career at BBC Radio Cumbria, will stand-in for Richard Bacon.
Madeley said: "I've always hugely enjoyed contributing and listening to 5 Live and I'll get a real kick out of guesting on it for a few days. We're going to have some fun."
His stint on 5 Live comes about following his guest appearance on Simon Mayo's afternoon programme earlier this year.
