New schedule for Tower FM

Bolton and Bury's Tower FM has a new weekday schedule, starting Monday 18th January.

Mark Brooks, who previously worked at Minster FM, Stray FM and Juice Brighton, is the new breakfast host while Central Radio's breakfast presenter Rob Charles takes over middays from Jon Holling who moves to drive.

Brooksy will host the 6-10am show with current co-host Vix (Vicki Robinson) from 18th January but Rob Charles starts his new 10am till 3pm slot this Monday.

Station boss Brian Paige says he is thrilled with his new line up: "I think it speaks volumes that we have managed to attract talent of this calibre and I’m confident that we will take on the new decade with a radio station to rival any".

Brian says that in this new decade it’s becoming even more important to super-serve the community: "Listeners have so many choices now and we are rebuilding Tower FM to be the focal point of life in Bolton and Bury. We’ve brought together a really great bunch of talented broadcasters who are ready to immerse themselves in what goes on in Bolton and Bury".

Rob Charles will continue to host the breakfast show on Central Radio, which has just been sold by UTV Radio to new local owners.
