Smooth Radio is to repeat its eight-part documentary series Legendary Record Labels, starting next Sunday.
The series was originally broadcast last year as part of a million pound investment in programming by owners GMG Radio.
Airing over eight consecutive Sundays from January 31st, Legendary Record Labels tells revealing first-hand stories behind the record labels that fashioned modern music. Stax, Motown, Factory and Island are amongst the record labels who laid the foundations and revolutionised popular music with artists such as Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, Joy Division and Bob Marley all destined to be musical giants of the future.
The programmes were produced by Sam Gregory at All Out Productions for GMG Radio.
