A new album named Songs for Mother has been released today by Global Radio's Classic FM, in time for Mother's Day on March 14th.
The two CD album contains some of the most popular artists played by the station, including Luciano Pavarotti, Katherine Jenkins and Aled Jones.
Buffie du Pon, Head of Music Partnerships at Global Radio, said: ‘Songs for Mother is a wonderful collection of favourite songs for women of all ages. We believe that Songs for Mother is the perfect gift for mothers and even grandmothers nationwide.’
The launch of the album is supported by a radio and online advertising campaign in the two weeks leading up to Mothering Sunday on 14th March, as well as a competition to win the ‘ultimate pampering experience’ with a stay at a luxury Champney’s health spa.
