Lucio signed to Absolute Radio

Former Capital FM presenter Lucio has been signed by Absolute Radio for a regular show, replacing Neil Francis.

Francis will leave at the end of the month with Lucio taking over the Friday night 80’s show and weekend breakfast.

Friday Night’s Absolute 80’s show will be broadcast between 7pm and 8pm on the station, it will also be broadcast on the popular spin-off brand Absolute 80’s.

At the weekend, Lucio will take over Saturday morning between 6am and 8am ahead of Frank Skinner and Sunday morning between 6am and 10am ahead of Dave Gorman.

Buffone’s CV includes time spent presenting at Capital, XFM and Kerrang. He also took over from Simon Hirst on the Hit40UK chart show – which has now been replaced by The Big Top 40.
