Somethin’ Else cover BRITs

Production company Somethin' Else has been appointed as official radio partner for this year's BRIT Awards.

They'll also be producing the online backstage and red carpet video content for the BRITs website.

As the official radio production partner, Somethin’ Else will produce content for UK commercial radio stations, provide audio interviews to all UK and international outlets from the red carpet, facilitate live feeds to international stations and co-ordinate five international radio stations broadcasting live backstage.

Sam Cocker, Head of Commercial Projects said: "Somethin' Else's expertise in building multi-platform projects, combined with our close relationship with BRIT Awards Ltd., having worked with them since 2002, meant we were ideally placed to meet the demands of producing online films and radio content for such an iconic music event. These platforms will offer music fans across the world more exclusive interviews, coverage and gossip from the behind the scenes of The BRIT Awards than ever before."

Maggie Crow, Director of Events, BRIT Awards Ltd. said: "We're delighted to be working with Somethin' Else for the tenth year running. We're really pleased that we've been able to entrust Somethin' Else with not only our radio production and syndication but also our online video."

This year's BRITs take place on 15 February 2011 at the O2 arena. To arrange coverage for your radio station or request tickets to give away on air, click [link=http://www.somethinelse.com/2011/01/21/the-brits-2011-2/]here[/link].
