Heart West Midlands and Capital FM Birmingham have a new Commercial Director.
Rob Kelly joins the Global stations from Bauer’s Viking FM and Magic 1161 where he held the same role.
Before that Rob was Commercial Director at Key 103 in Manchester, but has a total of nearly 20 years in the radio industry, including time at Red Rose Radio and Liverpool’s Radio City.
Global Radio’s Managing Director Regions Mark Lee said: “We’re excited to welcome Rob, and the wealth of experience he brings, to the team at West Midlands. Rob’s track record of delivering impressive results is simply outstanding and we’re pleased to make this announcement as the stations enjoy continued growth.”
Rob told RadioToday.co.uk: “There was such a buzz around the highly anticipated launch of Capital FM in Birmingham – which has been a huge success – and a year on I’m thrilled to be a part of this. Heart and Capital FM are the biggest commercial stations in West Midlands and I’m thrilled to be joining at such an exciting time, as they continue to go from strength to strength.”
