Bauer Media’s Magic 105.4 remains the most listened to commercial radio station in London, despite a drop in listeners this quarter.
The station went from 2.167m to 2.031m listeners in the last 12 months.
Stable mate Kiss also lost listeners but stays in third place in the London market with 1.8m listeners.
Nationally, the total Bauer Radio audience is now 13.3m listeners, up in hours and share year-on-year.
In the group’s Place Portfolio, Clyde 1 reached 624,000 listeners, up 12% since last year and a nine-year high, Metro Radio returns to over 400,000 listeners for the first time in four years and Key 103, with 512,000 listeners is officially Manchester’s number one hit music station.
Bauer Media’s digital station heat radio, helped by investment in new live programming strands and celebrity content, recorded its highest ever reach of 767,000 up 18.4% year on year and a 46% improvement in hours year on year.
Smash Hits remains the number 1 digital commercial radio station by reach across the UK, hours up 15% year on year and The Hits is the second biggest digital commercial radio station by reach, hours up 9.3% year on year.
