Absolute Radio has come out on top in a recent research report looking for the most creative brand for planners, with Bauer 6th and Global Radio in 8th place.
The report Industry View 2013 was produced by specialist research company Work Research and paints a picture of how media brands are viewed using data from agencies, industry thought leaders and media planners.
When asked to rate the media brands in terms of how they respond to briefs and the quality of their creative and strategic ideas, the respondents put Absolute Radio at the top for the second year running, ahead of Google in second place, Bauer (6th) and Global Radio (8th).
The report also found that Absolute Radio’s perception within the marketplace for servicing and profile has also improved, up from 7th in the UK to 3rd, just behind Google and The Telegraph.
Absolute Radio’s Commercial Director Simon Kilby said: “These are spectacular results for our business. To maintain our position as one of the most creative and strategic-thinking brands whilst also improving our reputation for profile, servicing and relevance is something that makes us very proud.”
The results were based on the answers given from key staff at agencies and planners including Havas Media, Mediacom, MEC, Starcom Mediavest, Zenith Optimedia, Phd, Carat, OMD, Mindshare and Initiative.
