Global Radio welcomed Prime Minister David Cameron at its Capital FM and Xfm studios in Salford Quays today for a Q&A session with listeners and staff.
The Prime Minister spent more than half an hour answering questions on topics ranging from cyber-bullying, apprenticeships, the bedroom tax, child care costs and his legacy through to his all-time favourite album and his musical guilty pleasure.
After the Q&A, the Prime Minister said: “I really enjoyed it. There were lots of great questions and a really big variety – internet, musical taste and everything else.”
Ashley Tabor, Global’s Founder and Executive President said: “We are delighted that the Prime Minister chose Global for this unique listener event at our Capital FM and Xfm Manchester studios. We look forward to hosting further Q&As with our listeners and the Prime Minister at Global stations across the UK in the future.”
