Former Xfm Manchester producer Kate Cocker is joining Bauer Media’s Manchester station Key 103 as Content Controller.
Kate is currently at 6 Music where she has held a number of producer roles, most recently overseeing programming for Mary Anne Hobbs along with running her own talent management business, What Goes On Media.
Ande Macpherson, Regional Content Director, North West, Bauer Radio, commented: “Kate’s deep passion for Manchester, a life-long love of radio and her meticulous approach to talent development are perfect attributes to bring to this new role at Key 103. Securing Kate is another example of Bauer’s mission to find the best talent to create brilliant content for its audiences.
“I am looking forward to working closely with Kate and the whole team at Key 103, with a focus on performance and driving success and growth across Greater Manchester.”
Kate’s arrival follows the announcement of several other Content Controllers joining across the Place Portfolio of stations: James Lett at Hallam FM, Nathan Thomson at Radio City, Mike Richardson at West FM, Davey Walker at Clyde 1, Mark Cliffe at Metro FM and TFM, and Phil Manzor at Forth One.
Kate’s husband Tim is currently breakfast presenter on cross-town rival Xfm.
