The annual Free Radio Live 2013 concert, taking place at the LG Arena in Birmingham this Saturday is a sell out.
This year’s line up includes The Saturdays, Pixie Lott, Lawson, Little Mix, Conor Maynard, James Arthur, Union J, The Vamps and headliner Olly Murs who will now perform to a crowd of 15,000 people on 30th November.
Commenting on the announcement, Free Radio Head of Marketing Andy Price told RadioToday: “Our ticket sales have grown each year and to reach sell out in advance of the show cements the event’s place as the Midlands’ premier live pop party”.
Free Radio Deputy Programme Director Toby Mackenzie added “We wanted to give Midlands’ music fans our strongest ever line up. The calibre of the acts on this year’s line up is fantastic and fans have responded by buying tickets faster than any previous year. We’re delighted”.
RadioToday will be attending the event backstage, bringing you highlights of how a radio station puts on a large concert such as this. We’ll be tweeting live via @RadioTodayLIVE with Arqiva with photos and Audioboos.
The event is supported by Birmingham Ormiston Academy.
