Marvin Humes is taking over the national Big Top 40 show across commercial radio, and the Capital FM network evening show from January.
Marvin joined Capital in March as host of a Friday night mix show, and went on to present a Saturday night show too.
There are other changes at Capital in the New Year too as Rich Clarke, current daytime show presenter leaves the station making way for Pandora, who currently hosts weekday evenings, to move up to the 10am to 1pm slot.
Marvin Humes said: “I’m over the moon to be a part of the exciting 2014 line up on Capital. What an amazing opportunity. I remember being on The Big Top 40 as an artist and to now be presenting the show is a dream come true.”
Global’s Group Executive Director and Director of Broadcasting Richard Park said: “Since joining us in May, Marvin immediately connected with our audience and quickly established himself as a key presenter for Capital. This move clearly positions him at the frontline of the station’s plan for 2014.”
