Danny Baker returning to BBC London 94.9?

Danny Baker has tweeted that his is returning to BBC London 94.9, two years after his famous last show which blasted station management.
Danny was “sacked” from the station in November 2012, then he proceeded to use his last show to let his feelings be known about the decision. He said, amongst many other controversial things: “It was a nice way to treat a guy who had cancer. Maybe the BBC hoped I wouldn’t pull through so they didn’t have to sack me!”
But on Twitter this week, Danny said: “Happy to say that unless you hear differently, I, native born Londoner, chronicler of life in capital, and most importantly of all winner of Best Radio Speech Broadcaster last 4 years running, will soon be back at @BBCLondon949 – I mean why wouldn’t I?”
UPDATE: The BBC has confirmed to RadioToday that Danny Baker is not returning to BBC London. We’ve contacted Danny to find out more.
