Signal’s Louise Stones joins BBC Radio Stoke

Former Signal breakfast presenter Louise Stones is joining BBC Radio Stoke for a weekend show.

Louise left the Wireless Group station suddenly earlier this year after being told about upcoming changes. She’d been on the breakfast show for 16 years before disappearing in February.

Louise said: “I’m really excited to join the team here at BBC Radio Stoke to see some old friends and make some new ones. Catch me on Saturday afternoons. We’ll be finding out what’s happening in Staffordshire and Cheshire, having fun and enjoying some great music over the summer.”

Newly appointed BBC Radio Stoke Editor, Andrew Bowman said: “I’m thrilled that Louise is joining BBC Radio Stoke, the show will be packed with Staffordshire and Cheshire personality – listeners are in for a treat!”

Louise was one half of “Andy and Louise” and previously “Perry and Louise” at Breakfast on Signal 1. They were replaced by Jennie and Foxy.
